Dinner and a movie has always fit squarely in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" column of classic date night moves.
Still, it can't hurt to switch it up.
And you'll find just that at Switch Studios, the place where Cinema Supper Club meets for a clubby flick-and-foodie night serving up double features, homecooked meals and signature cocktails on the third Thursday of every month.
Carefully curated menus are themed to the carefully curated films (like Revenge of the Electric Car followed by Monty Python's Life of Brian — think about it).
Capacity is only 50, so make your reservation well in advance, since these babies sell out quicker than Hunger Games viewings.
Show up at 6:30p for dinner, drinks, and to choose your viewing space: the THX-certified pro mixing room with a 15-ft screen for the cinephiles, or the more spacious and warm living room with a six-foot screen for the chatty, where talking during the film won’t get you snubbed.
Films start at 7:30p with an intermission made for mingling. And by mingling, we mean more of those cocktails.
