Do you want a pretty lie or the ugly truth?
In relationships both parties often find themselves in a position where they have to make the decision to tell their other the truth about a situation or lie. In some situations they may not say anything at all.
It's a touchy subject because no one wants to hurt the person they are with but at the same time you don't want to lie to them, which could actually lead to hurting them even more if the lie is exposed.
I believe this varies from relationship to relationship. Everyone is not going to want the same thing, this should be talked out with your partner because although lots of people hate lies some would rather not hear your devious actions.
